1st Turkey Sighting - Flock Of "Big Birds"!

13 Setemper 2017

Our HD surveillance camera system at The Homestead catches some very interesting events from time to time and when we happen to actually catch them, we save them and share them with the world.

In this video you will see our first 2017 recording of a flock of wild turkeys. Viewing two of the Homestead's cameras in the back yard we track this flock of wild turkeys from the woods through our back yard. These turkeys take their time as they pass through the back yard back enjoying a meal as they walk.

As the flock of wild turkeys make their way through the back yard you will see a gray squirrel get into the action. Before long those Big Birds scare that little gray squirrel back into the woods! Later on another squirrel is flushed out of the weeds and runs up the black walnut tree trunk to hang out for a while. After the coast is clear the squirrel heads back into the weeds.

Takes some time for the wild turkey flock to come into view. If you watch the edge of the woods closely you will see the squirrel darting back and forth looking for food too. After a while two of the wild turkeys get in pretty close to the camera and you can see the details in their feathers.

Ed's Viewing Tip: While viewing the video clip you can click on pause to stop the video clip at any time. Once you have paused the video clip, you can then manually slide the clip time indicator left and right to see the event in a frame by frame mode and see a lot more intricate details of these amazing events captured by our home HD camera surveillance system.
