Hey Yogi - Where's Boo Boo?
19:25:00
Our HD surveillance camera system at The Homestead catches some very interesting events from time to time and when we happen to actually catch them, we save them and share them with the world.
In this video you will see our first 2018 visit of a Black Bear feasting at Dot's Wild Bird Diner. As Dot was watching the birds in her platform feeder she witnesses a grown black bear lick up some bird feed from a 5ft tall platform pole feeder. You'll get a better look at Yogi from the front porch camera. Date and time stamp has been disabled on the video recording so you will have to manually move the slider to 6:30 and click play. You should see a small bird feasting in the hanging basket feeder and a bluebird perched on the tree truck pecking at a hanging seed bell. Then at 6:45 you'll see the black bear closing in. Then the fun gets started when a couple of bluebirds fly from the tree branches.
